The Boat That Rocked: Soundtrack
Las diversas manifestaciones del Rock & Roll han sido perseguidas en casi todo el mundo y con mayor vehemencia durante sus inicios por políticos con ideales fundamentalistas y de "derecha", que veían al Rock como una liberación, en todo el sentido de la palabra; partiendo de la música, pasando por el pensamiento y llegando hasta el sexo y las drogas. Esto forjó un espíritu de lucha en aras de todo lo que amamos del Rock, que parece(quiero creer) que nunca va a desaparecer y que se encuentra plasmado en "The Boat That Rocked".
Las canciones que integran la Banda Sonora de esta película son grabaciones simbólicas para el Rock & Roll de los años sesenta y setenta que cumplen coherentemente con la misión que tienen pero van más allá; es la música que acompaña a la película y en momentos también es usada como base para contar la historia. Esto hace que una película sobre Rock&Roll sea buena(rockea), pues nos nutre de esos grandes m-o-m-e-n-t-o-s en los que nos sentimos orgullosos de cantar y poder compartir esa canción de Rock, que sentimos inigualable para dichos tiempos.
